When the Clock Strikes Mid-Night

my last day,
how will it come to an end?

what troubles will I escape,
will I have a look of terror or peace upon my face?

will there be an end to all of the pain,
will anyone miss me if they never saw me again?

will I just float right up to the sky,
when will I have my last day, will it all be over at mid-night?
