When Someone Dies

Death is a subject we don't discuss
and is pushed under the carpet, it is
not a rush. But when someone dies
what do we say, it's limited what
you can say at all.

It is a reality we will die one day,
we are not immune from this process
no way. Not what we would want to hear
today, on top the economic downturn
in the world.

The thought of death came to my mind
a great way to leave all life's troubles behind
Not that i'm taking my life way, just a fact
of life, that's here to stay.

So true....the subject is always something we avoid, but is always there facing each and every one of us. Well said. ~ Carrie

Nice words penned here. The true here is right. Life is uncertain but death is sure...Raul
