When She Needed You the Most

Mothers have their flaws
They do not always know how to cope
But as they grow older, our being there
Is almost always their only hope

As mothers get old
They become like children again
They become as dependent on us
As we used to be dependent on them

Mothers are where we all began
Many wish to have a mom at home
Shall we not abandon ours
Nor in their old age, make them feel alone

Love your mothers
Do what you can, though sometimes hard
Work towards the peace you will feel
Of having no regrets when she someday depart

Be there while you can
Until to the life after this she goes
Because the feeling that will eat you up
Is the one of you not being there, when she needed you the most
