When She Asked, Hey Ye Say, I Love You

When she asked, "Hey ye! say, I love you?" I said "no...." She was shocked! In bewildering sigh, She gazed at me, Her red eyes were wet; Said in woeful voice, "How can you bluntly say, That you don't love me? Where am I wrong?" Began weeping the tears, Flowed like thundering rain; No choice left, But had to say, "You are half of me, My eyes are you, lips are you, My heart is you; Did you ever say? You love your eyes, your heart; I don't need to say, I 'love you' to you, You are me, and I am you"; Say love to one, Who isn't the part of you; Losing you is, Losing eyes, losing heart; Pain we feel, When miss any part; © sadashivan nair
