When Peace Arrives
Sunshine kisses
the morning sky,
which awakens me from sleep.
And the clean crisp air
carries the smells of life,
through my windows it does creep.
Then, later in
the evening hour,
the sky where rain is from;
Replenishes
the thirst for life,
before the night has come.
And as I lay
my head to rest,
I call the Lord and pray.
Thankful for
the life he gave,
so we could live today.
