When Peace Arrives

Sunshine kisses the morning sky, which awakens me from sleep. And the clean crisp air carries the smells of life, through my windows it does creep. Then, later in the evening hour, the sky where rain is from; Replenishes the thirst for life, before the night has come. And as I lay my head to rest, I call the Lord and pray. Thankful for the life he gave, so we could live today. Written by, Sheri Lynne Evans August 14, 1998

This is such a gorgeous, positive prayer, Sheri. So elegantly and meaningfully penned. I love how you've centered it upon waking and retiring. Those really are the twin axes of prayer. Superb! ~ Gershon
