When Our Shadows Melt

When life's lights goes out
And death is crowned in shame

When the clock's last tock halts
And the shadows fade in sorrows

When the last candle falls
And my heart beats no more

When you hear my voice no more
And yet nowhere to trace me

When the eternal gates shut close
And you feel my breath not

When the pictures paint my smiles
And the inks write my words

When you call me
And hears my voice no more

When I am laid lonely
And no one ready to stay with me

When you know I am no more
And you have to move on with life

When you know I love you
But death separates us
