When Only He Can See Me

I saw you in the middle of my darkness. When all I had ever known was pure loneliness. During a season of my life when I had no one by my side--- I found you and I had no where left to hide. Like a fresh breath of air was your essence of peace and kindness. Then I discovered God's faithfulness. So I decided to embrace it, despite my own fears of betrayal from my past. I thought, this is too good to be true, and it won't last. Maybe this was my last chance, to escape my past, and to begin healing for my future. After living so many years in endless torture. As I sit here, I recall those challenging days, but I didn't realize until now, that I had God all along. He helped me stay strong. There is hope for the brokenhearted. Don't believe the lies of the enemy, that's why he has departed. A fresh chapter has now started. For me the trials and tribulations of my history, no longer remain a mystery. And here I am to say that you can begin again. Surviving through my endless river of tears and pain. From these words I can't refrain. For my healer, my God's words, shall in my soul remain.
