When misty moonlight shines its light
Answers the call as if on cue
With shadows racing thru the night.
The clouds float by all thin and white
Soft breezes blow them out of view
When misty moonlight shines its light.
All thru the forest it takes flight
As o’re the trees it travels thru
With shadows racing thru the night.
It paints a picture of delight
After the moon bids sun adieu
When misty moonlight shines its light.
Down on the petals, colors bright
Reflecting the first evening dew
When misty moonlight shines its light
With shadows racing thru the night.
