When Mean Eyes Cry

Bitter sweet tears roll down my face,
When he's gone without a trace.
Bitter sweet tears, oh how they taste,
Warm it feels against my face,
Still you're gone without a trace.
Oh river of sorrow,
Oh river of pain,
Made of thy bitter sweet rain,
Falling out of grace,
All through the seventh Heaven
And on to my face.
Oh how must it hurt to fall out of grace!
And yet you're gone without a trace.
Only a broken heart could shed these tears,
When love is gone and all what's left is fears.
I'm no poet but still i say,
When mean eyes cry the world turns grey.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed."
