When Love Is Good
Things between friends are good except when
Strings are attached in the relationship.
Trust is vital in every way and
Must extend real freedom to the soul.
What to do when broken hearts are sore?
Not a time to hold back affection.
Pour the oil of comfort and kindness,
More than that is unnecessary.
But if love is dead or decayed,
Shut the door quietly as you leave.
