When Love Hides Within
When one allows emotions
To dwell deep within
They hide from the surface
They hide from you my friend.
Did you except them to run free
And show you their marks
What if you mistreated them
And left even deeper scares.
Noone knows better than I
For I nursed them on days of no end
I had to promise to be real careful
If again they allowed me
To ever love again.
