When Love Flies Out of the Window

When love flies out of the window Hate strides in the door People wear sad faces Which they never wore before Hate encourages violence Love votes for peace Hate causes disturbance That seems never to cease Make love, not war Is a sensible point of view I cannot understand warmongers It is impossible to I don't think anyone, Who has a brain Would want to see the world Slowly trickle down the drain Sadly that is what is happening, In this crazy world today, If things don't change soon Our sins will wash the world away.

There has not been peace since the world started…. I do not know why people think there ever was! We are the same age, Shirley And we grew up with Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin,Mao, etc, Anyway, the blood runs in our US streets, and thieves are not punished. Murderers are set free! And More signs of the End Times. Murder of the unborn, that’s a war against God. A well done poem. Pangie

Lovely poem, my friend. In essence, it resembles mine. For no one can steal a rainbow and so remain without love,
