When In Rome

Do what the Romans do, Do what, to who. If you are on holiday in Rome, A long way from home, Embrace their culture. And leave all else alone. You will enjoy your visit more, When you find out what's in store. Opportunities abound, In this foreign land. Do what the Romans do, Explore and relish all that's new. Look and learn as you explore, People and situations you have not seen before. Don't make comparisons when you are in Rome. Do what the Romans do, Or stay at home.

Other than stormdrains clogged with prophylactics, my most prominent memory of Rome is of a place where drivers steer with their knees because their hands are on the passenger, and yet they drive more carefully than Americans with both hands on the wheel . . . . .

Ha Ha, Loved your comment. Nero fiddled while Rome burns, Someone spelt it wrong. Or perhaps not.

Hmmm...I understand the Roman men are big on pinching behinds. Is this true? I can do that!

Hello Shirley, Know truer adage I know than 'When in Rome'. But their toilet paper leaves much to be desired. And you'll wait alot and learn to say Dai, andiamo! -Richard
