When I Write
Quite often in this erratic chaos I call my life,
I look for answers in the things I write,
sometimes to caught up in emotion I just don't see,
the simplest of answers that lay right before me.
The words I write, I always analyze,
thinking to myself, questioning why,
then sometimes I drift into deep thought,
pulling everything to pieces to see how it works.
Not once has this method failed me,
sometimes it does takes longer to see,
but when in doubt this is where I turn,
only when I step back and look at it, do I learn.
