When I Went Shopping For Rubies

I spent my day shopping for rubies, with an aim to buy thousand of them. I went from shop to shop, collected all of them. Back home carefully, I laid all of them. Made a list of all I knew, sent a picture to all of them. So many rubies I had, everyone was jealous of them. Everyday I would wear one, I flaunted each one of them. I was the talk of the town, always went out attired in them. Wherever I went, everyone would look at them. I sent a picture to Guinness Book of World records, became a record holder because of them. I came in TV show and news, again because of them. Queen came to know about it, dropped in to see them. Invited me over for lunch, I went wearing them. I was the guest of honour, everyone was looking at them. I was the centre of attention, everyone was talking about them. Now all rich people invite me, to parties hosted by them. I know all film stars and business men, they keep in touch with me, all of them. I have many friends, all because of them. They are the cause of my new found happiness, I am ever grateful to them. Everyday I count and clean, each one of them. They are my prized possession, each one of them. Sparkling glittering shining, Oh how much I love them! They make me feel rich and important, Oh! how much I love them!
