When I Was Young

When I was young

When I was young
I didn't have much of anything, nothing big and nothing small
I just saw the fun of it all.
When I was young

We used to play for hours of time.
Adventure's off to anywhere, didn't matter if we had a dime.
I just saw the fun of it all.

When I was young

Times were never greater back then, we felt no care nor worried then.
Swinging from a rope off a bank of a pond, sometimes I felt we all could fly.
And so we did in our midnight dreams, no big deal we didn't fall.
I just saw the fun of it all.

When I was young
