When I Wanted To Give Up Jesus Was There

When I Wanted to Give Up…  Jesus Was There!

There was a time when I faced
 my darkest night.
And things in life,
 weren’t turning out right.

This was about the time, when things
 were falling apart!
And I began to feel a lot of stress in my heart!

I ran to Jesus!  He was there help me!
He was faithful and promised to never leave me!

He saw me, and spoke words
 of comfort, to follow!
He reminds me, that he’ll take care
 of today and tomorrow!

He lets me know that he won’t let go of my hand!
Everything I’m going through… 
 He understands!

He turned back the problems that were overwhelming!
 I began see what things my life, are becoming!

I have a relationship with Jesus, like never before!
He gave me peace and hope!  And much more!

I’m glad I have such a 
 friend like this!
His love and joy…  I don’t want to miss!

Thank you Jesus!  You turned my life around!
And planted my life on a solid ground!

You’re all I want!  And all I’ve needed!
With you as my Lord, my life is completed!
