Whenever I needed you,
I could never see your face,
when I needed love,
you took everything away.
Whenever I needed you,
you were too hard to find,
hiding yourself from me.
Whenever I needed you,
you were too far to touch,
when I gave you my love,
that was never enough.
Whenever I needed you,

you took your love away.
