When I Needed Someone Jesus Was There
Jesus Was There…
Jesus was there…. When my life hit
“rock bottom.”
All of my problems and worries…
He reached out and “caught ‘em.”
Jesus was there… When I felt lonely
and was frightened.
His love shined through, and my life
was “enlightened.”
Jesus was there… After all of my
“friends” disappeared…
His love for me became
so evident and clear!
Jesus was there…
To take away all of my sins!
It’s only in Christ…
Where true fulfillment begins!
Jesus was there… Very patient
and willing to understand…
For all of my failures...
He reached out his hand!
Jesus is here right now!
And wants to express…
It’s only in him…
Where there's peace and rest!
Jesus is here right now!
Won’t you open up your heart?
Spending time alone with him…
Is a great place to start!
Jesus is here right now!
And forevermore shall be…
Waiting for you to join him…
For all eternity!
