When I Look In Your Eyes

Lately I've been down and out
Thinking about all the times we've shared
And I know that we were made for each other
We may fuss and fight but our love will always be tight
When I look in your eyes I see love staring back at me
This love we have will last for eternity
And I know that our love is true
Always true.
Because when I look in your eyes all I see is love.
Your soul brings me comfort
Comfort that I need 
You're so beautiful
You're essence is all that I breathe
I can wake up every night and day
From the smile on your face
Because you're my one and only
And no one can take your place
All I see is your love
Love from your heart is all I need
And no one can take that away from me

Charles Henderson October 15, 2010 at 10:16 PM Normally, I don't read romantic poem on the soup because some are just down right nausiating. This one however, is a delight. Actually refreshing. I and my wife just celebrated our 50 th anniversary. It's not all hot dogs and roses but it has to be love. Charles
