When I Dream

When I dream
I dream of who?
When I dream
I dream of you.
	
I’m in your arms
And you’re all mine.
We’re never apart
Together all the time.

You tell me you love me
Whenever you can.
I really like hearing it
I'm a true fan.

You make me really happy
When you don’t even try.
You wipe away all my tears
If I ever cry.

But I’m hardly ever sad
And I’d never make a fuss.
Because I’m just so glad
There is an “us”.
	
Reality is different though.
None of this is true.
So I will keep dreaming
Until the day I’m really with you.
