When I Die

I was sitting by the waters shore,
watching the waves go by;
When a strange and sudden thought came to mind,
what will happen with me when I die?
This thought I had satyed with me awhile,
so I thought about it once or twice,
And realized that to live in sin,
is like playing with loaded dice.
Now I've never been much for religion,
And I did'nt quite know what to say,
So I said a very simple prayer,
Lord forgive me my sins today.
Now that I am a christian,
time seems to fly right by;
I no longer have to ask the question,
what will happen with me when I die?
