When I awake
No matter what the day may bring
Or if the sun is shinning
When I awake
If there is a chill in the air
Or rain falling throughout the land
When I awake
I wait
Patiently
Longingly
To hear the sweetest word
Ever spoken
When you awake
And say
“Hello”
