When He Gave Me You

Here you are my little girl
After a busy day of fun
All curled up and peaceful
Lying next to mom

I watch your tiny fingers
Your tiny little toes
Your chubby cheeks
Your little nose

And then Mom say a little prayer
Thanking God above
For blessing me with a little girl
Who gives Mom so much love

God know Mom's heart my little one
And He probably know this too
That He gave me the greatest gift
When He gave me you

I went through many heartbreaks
One after the other
But God saw my tears
And blessed me with you and your father

So tonight Mom thank God my little one
For your love for Mom so pure and true
My darling, God gave Mom the greatest gift
When He gave me you
