When Evil Creeps In

When evil creeps in we may never know
It may be an angry word to the one we love so
Sometimes it causes pain, which we cannot see
Sometimes it is causes hate or animosity
It can cause you strife when you are sick
And one mean word can really stick
It can hurt your mind your body and soul
It does not care if you are young or old
It can consume your mind and weaken your will
Make you depressed and cause you to be Ill
It will live in the darkness of your mind
It is always there if you are unkind
But we can over come that evil within
That evil that causes us all to sin
Cause there is a light  we can have you and me
One that can shine through the darkness that be
It is the only one that we need to have 
The light that helps not to be bad
Never the less we need it everyday
It is the light  of God that shows us the way

It is the light of God, which has always been
But we can not see it because of our sin
So if we ask for forgiveness, from all our deeds
God will give us all the light we need
So we have   to ask for that light to come in
Because only God can take away the pain,
And  only God can Take away sin.
