When Everthing Changes

In the blink of an eye
everything changes,
sometime for better;
more often for worse.

Afterward we may ask why,
but answers stay out of range;
never a call, never a letter,
never a card with a sympathy verse.

If you happen to see me going awry,
please reach out and help rearrange
my heart to forget her;
find me the one who's more than a flirt.

Reaching out is important. Loneliness can be difficult. I appreciate how your poem speaks of these feelings.
