WHEN CRUSHED
When in teen, yet to explore unknown zone of youth
Ignorant of hard tough practical ruthless truth.
Me indifferent, you came with admiration.
Firm faith flooded my blood in infatuation.
I trusted, depended and at last was deceived.
Completely crushed, such terrible shock to receive.
Turning opportunist, you left and walked away.
No alternative, I had to choose my own way.
Ember of your meanness to burn my pristine heart.
I had to be a lone fighter leaving you apart.
Pretty petals were torn owing to a savage
The injury, the wound, a permanent damage.
My humble heart suffered severe being a victim.
My innocence was crushed, I could not punish him.
