When Close Friends Take Ill

When close friends take ill 
It is a real "bummer"
The next worse thing to taking ill yourself
When close friends near death 
It can really blow your mind
Turn on your love light before it is too late! 
For we are only granted a few moments
in which to enjoy the sun - the ocean - the countryside 
the metropolis
So avoid hate and take a deep breath 
For whatever path you choose I wish that 
The force be with you!
So you can endure the loss of close friends 
And continue onward 
on the difficult road of life!

Sara Kendrick January 21, 2020 at 5:25 AM Matthew, Sorry to hear that you have had someone close to you become ill. There has been some really sick people this fall and winter here in our hometown. A large number have become so ill that they had to go to the hospital. As we get older more people our age get ill and some pass which can diminish our social network. My parents lived into their late nineties but they continued to make friends with younger people and that helped. Sara
