When All's Said and Done

Suddenly a light and I was all confused
Suddenly I'm here I had no time to choose
Suddenly a pain and I began to cry
How to start a journey without knowing why

Now I'm a just small boy so completely lost
Now I'm just flotsam on a tempest tossed
Now I'm being yelled at for everything I do
How to lean the rules and understand what's true

Suddenly a book is there for me to read
Suddenly the words are all I really need
Suddenly I'm aware of who I have to be
How to start the journey of understanding me

Suddenly the years are passing just like that
Suddenly I’ve found a place to hang my hat
Suddenly I see the nature of the plan
How to take the journey now I understand

Suddenly it's time the journey takes its course
Suddenly I find that I have no remorse
Suddenly enlightened I'm ready for the end
How to accept death as your very best friend

No one knows
No one cares
It's only you
The one who shares
