When All Is New

Water that is clear, cool
Bouncing over rocky creek bed
Flowing through rocky cleft
Looks like Palomino's tail
One that is being swished
Blown in a gentle breeze
On a spring morn when all is new

A lovely refreshing image, I'm tempted to dip my toes in that water, it reminds me of a haiku I wrote a while back. I may dig it out and post it here. Enjoyed your write Sara. Thanks for all your comments ~ Sharon :)

What do you want to know about the Summertime contest? It's not strict! LOl listen to one of the songs (I've posted links) and any thing you think of playing slightly off that song write a poem. Say Running Bear...you could do a limerick about running naked? or a poem about a Bear or a Romeo & Juliet poem..all would be fine or just a verse with a NAmerican theme! Just pick one and sign up on the bottom of one of my sestina's ;) Loves Ya
