When a tear falls
who knows the pain behind it
who knows the emptiness one feels
 When a tear falls
one feels alone
in a world that is hurtful and cold
 When a tear falls
who knows how you feel
who knows the emotions inside
seeing a friend that is broken
in need of a shoulder
 When a tear falls
where is a true friend
one to hear the sorrows of your soul
seeking to heal your wounds
 When a tear falls
where are you
where are you
