When

When you hold my little girl
When you hold my little girl, please use gentle hands
until I was a parent, I didn't understand.
She is my most treasured gift from heaven above
so hold her close to your heart,
gaze at her with love.
When you hold my little girl
I am trusting you
you are holding a piece of my heart that you can see
She is my dream come true
She is a part of me.
If I have you in my life, this gift with you I share
When you hold my little girl,
Please handle her with care.
