When will this hurt go away
When will I bravely face each new day
You've been gone for some time
Yet it seems like you're still here in my mind
The memories and moments we shared
Are still alive and at times the pain is so hard to bear
Just the mention of your name
Lights up my soul with a never ending flame
But now it's time to move on
To forget the past and admit you are gone
When will this hurt go away
Not for a long time but maybe one day
