What's Your Name?

What's your name?
What do you look like?
Do you live in fame?
Or quiet humility?

I know you're out there
I just don't know you
Though I look everywhere
I can't seem to find your light.

I can almost touch your face
Can almost hold you close
But here I am without your grace
So I dream of the day.

When I'll know your name
And I'll frown as I remember
Before you came
Silently wonder how I survived.

But until then
I'll keep looking for you
Keep looking through the men
And see your face.

But I promise that one day
However far it may be
I'll grin at you and say
"I know your name."
