What's Love?

What’s Love but a silly word made of disappointments and lost forever imaginings of feelings questionably felt? i’ll never show this to him nor will i ever say again my doubts and fears that i ever have or will Love. What’s Love but a dream a fanciful hope that the creatures of emotion so often written about could be us? i’ll never again say it with the surety i have felt in the past, for i know now true doubt true fear that my stash of Love has run out over the many times i have given it never to receive it, always left holding the empty platter my heart was presented upon. What’s Love but emptiness a lack of words to describe a nameless feeling a label so often used misused when we are fooling ourselves that this this that we are feeling right now this is the stuff of fairytales. i’ll never show this to him but i will tell myself that it is true if only to save my tears for a better time and if it is true then What’s Love to me?
