What's It Like
what's it like to live on your own,
to go out in to the unknown,
fresh out of highschool not knowing what to do,
or where to go,
to fend for yourslef,
to build your own shelf,
to buy your own house,
pick up a couple jobs to help pay the bills with your spouse,
what is it like to work and go to college,
to try to plan a marriage in the midst of all that,
whats it like to wake up next to the love of your life,
to say i do and become a commited husband and wife,
what's it like to take care of a precious baby,
to raise them and know you still did your job well maintaining a full time job with times so crazy,
someday i will know what its like to go through all of those things,
i know what its like to be an innocent young child and an intelligent young adult,
and as a result,
i have a streak of curiosity,
that makes me wonder what the future has instore for me,
i know that i am ready,
i am ready for what ever life's little game has to give me,
whatever curve ball life throws at me,
i know that i will be ready to catch them all.
