Whats Done Is Done

I cry as the tail lights leave the drive
I only have myself to blame
We’ve had this talk a thousand times
Now I’m standing here with all the pain

The memories are what hurt the most
A vicious loop inside my mind
I’ll never find a love like hers
That girl was definitely one of a kind

The guilt of all the things I did
The fear of losing that special one
The shameful things I can’t take back
All the hurt I’ve done

The thoughts
The dreams
The hopes - the seeds

The damage has been done

It’s gonna be hard getting over

But what’s done is done

Another phone call
I keep hoping ill see her name
I wonder what’s she’s thinking
My thoughts are much the same

I saw her out last evening
Damn - I saw him too
I wonder if she even thinks of me
As she’s dancing across the room

They spin across the old wooden floors
Like the thoughts spinning inside my mind
I remember that first dance we shared
It haunts me every night

The guilt of all the things I did
The fear of losing that special one
The shameful things I can’t take back
All the hurt I’ve done

The thoughts
The dreams
The hopes - the seeds

The damage has been done

It’s gonna be hard getting over

But what’s done is done

Definitely a painful place for anyone to be. This was very nice Kelly. Definitely had a great flow.
