What You Need To Hear

I wonder
do you hear the pleas
the sound of whispers
thru the trees
someone calling
far away
begging, please
take me away
do you realize
my pain
how I need shelter
from the bitter rain
how I want
to know you care
tell me please
that you are there
are you aware
could you be alert
to all the harmful
 words that hurt
let me know
that someone cares
I need you to hear
my lonesome prayers

Hi Neva Ahhhh, what a beautiful heart you have sweet! I think we are on the same wave length as you can tell from my poem To Waolk Alone.I hear, anytime...This is a powerful poem for it tells of the heart of so many folks these days. We truly do need to reach out to folks like these who sometimes just need an ear, a hun, etc. Keep writing hun and I'll keep reading. Many blessings to you and yours hun. Thanks for your most welcome comment. Take care Love Light Truth Patricia

oddly enough yes I do hear, although I think the subject is refering to herself more than the reader. Either way, when the needy call for help someone usually finds them in their state and can help them through it, if only by letting them know they really care and are not just saying they do. I really care because we're all in this together, sooner or later the bitter rain has to stop and the sun begins to shine again. Thanks for sharing. -Yoni

Awesome telling of the soul's vulnerability ... and yet this is not a fragile poem. Bravo!
