What You Left Behind
over the last year...............
watching your body grow tired
as your mind faded away
what you left behind
a beautiful love who still has so much life to share
what you left behind
with angel eyes you'll watch over her
she knows just how much you cared
what you left behind
a man - your son standing tall and proud
remembering the wisdom of your lessons &
deep talks
what you left behind
the aching pains of tired a body
a soul lingering to be set free
what you left behind
memories to comfort family and friends
at our time of need
God knows this day bring much relief
and at the end of your journey you'll have everlasting
peace
