What You Do Next

Forgiveness doesn't cost a cent
nor does it take brute strength.
It's, actually a harder task
to hold a grudge for length.
Most quarrels start as simple things
   that words can escalate.
The damage done, with just the tongue,
   should not determine fate.
Although it's wrong, emotions strong,
   sometimes can take control.
The actions next, revealing best,
   the truth within the soul.

Thank God I was able to use my actions to make up for the words of my youth with my mom. Amen

Very important...What you do in those circumstances...if you can ride over the humps maybe you will not regret your actions...

We all say or do things at times that we know are wrong, the bigger person will always say "I was wrong, I'm sorry." Nicely penned, Sheri. John
