What Would I Take

White sandy shrores
a beautiful scene
yet here all alone
is not something i could have forseen

i'd need something for protection
i knife would probably do
with that i would be safer
and could take in the view

to know what i could eat
i would need a survival book
so that i would know exactly
what's in that babbling brook

the final thing i'd bring
is something really small
it's not for my survival
doesn't really matter at all

the last thing i would bring
is a little picture frame
something to remind me
that i am still the same

a picture of my family
is all i'd really need
it's for them i would survive
oh yes i would indeed
