What Was It - That I'Ve Done

What was it –
That I’ve Done
That made you topple my great
That made you tear down my passion
Turn your love into hate

What was it –
That I’ve Done
That made you turn your back on a friend
That made you put up your trust
See the color of my skin

What was it –
That I’ve Done
That made smiles disappear
That turned the happiness of day
Into the darkness of tears

What was it –
That I’ve Done
That caused confusion in our time
That changed a pure friendship
Into time for a crime

What was it that I’ve Done
What was it that I’ve Done

That started changing day into night
Eternity into a might

The Cream of Love
To the Bitterness of Hate

The fullness of Life
The Emptiness of a Plate

Tell me what I’ve Done
Not tomorrow – But today
Tell me what I’ve Done
Please Friend,
Don’t Walk Away
