What Snowy Claus Brought

The few days after christmas Snowy Claus brought,
tons of snow without plows,
folks felt barricaded by large cows,
Those that braved the snow are in traction
now,
Others have slipped discs at their own risks,
The frail had heart attacks,
Yet, the authorities keep telling people,
"We'll get back,"
Was that before or after residents fell flat on their backs?
Pain and inconveniences came as bonuses days after Christmas,
adding insult to injury after a year that could have killed many
from the stress,
What have folks done to receive this lack of attention and disrespect?
or are they just victims of misguided elections?
