What Sin

What sin we now commit
in pursuit of profit.
With never ending growth
we plunder planet earth.

Where are we heading for
when nature we ignore
and hide our reckless acts
by massaging the facts.

When will we admit guilt
that all our greed has built
desire for endless gain.
Such thinking is insane.

Why do we not accept
we're wrecking this planet
as we take more and more.
Through our grabbing galore.

Who can we find to blame
for driving plunder game.
Perhaps we look to self
and see we gain by stealth.
