What My Cross Is Made Of.

Jesus said “take up your cross
and follow after me
I’ll prepare a place for you
where you can live eternally

He promised he would be there
even though there’s just a few
And so my cross is made of
The things I need to do...

What my cross is made of
is something I cant hide
For in my life I’m teaching
Just why the Savior died..

And so the seed was planted
And there grew a mighty tree
And faith became the mighty tool
that formed the cross for me .

And so the pages of the bible
Were also made of wood
We read about mount Calvary
Where an ancient cross once stood

What my cross is made of
is something I cant hide
For in my life I’m teaching
Just why the Savior died..

I show the world everyday
Just what the lord can do
But some turn and walk away
They say it isn’t true .

But I keep straight and narrow
Someday they’ll understand
What my cross is made of
will take me to promised land

What my cross is made of
will be a robe of white someday
Because hand in hand with Jesus
I’m on the straight and narrow way
