What Might Have Been
There I was living a breath
well at least there was a few
for some moments I could think
my hands to feel the morning dew
To look and see the morning rise
or in evening see dark come down
through out day see sun and rain
watch the colours of blue red even brown
I would experience weather so rich
temperatures range low to high
in coldness feel ice or snow
feel suns warmness before it did fly
Emotions within be so very real
sad times would bring a tear
joy fills the heart to feel aglow
such diversity of thought be so near
To know a friend or be in love
learn of God and His loving grace
O so much I have been denied
but sinfulness runs the human race
For these times are not mine
my life has gone in a flicker
some are given life others not
well it's not yours to be a picker
(thoughts on what it may be like about the never-heard-of destiny of an unborn child whose life was taken by abortion.)
