SP, so much wisdom in so few words. Just reading this makes my euphoria soar. Funny how the two sections of the poem are somewhat at odds and that makes it even better! The right thing at the right time! Smiles!

Interesting line penned. Don't we all chase happiness at least part of the time each day when just being can fill our soul. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Sara K

Hmmm... I would have to respectfully disagree. To simply exist you might as well be a tree or a rock. But Ecclesiastes says to enjoy the fruitage of your hard work under the sun. That's my goal

Dear sotto What a profound and uplifting monoku this is, empowering too and comforting as i read the ending especially, sometimes we dont realize the joy of just existing and we need this reminder to be grateful for being able to see a new day new light of dawn! Beautiful! Pleasure reading you today! Sending you light always

Amen to that Lasaad. Clever and to the point. Existing allows you to enjoy so much and their are many wonderful and joyful moments, focus on the happy things that bring joy instead of the ones that bring you sadness and grief. Great message here my friend. Best wishes for the contest a winning entry in my humble opinion. God bless you...
