What Love Is

'Tween Sensibilities' Splendor

You speak adamantly of gentle courage
     and sharing spring's flourished nectar,
the swooning rhythm of swaying trees
and the easeful breezes that flow
     'tween endearment's sensibilities,
misty moonbows 'neath dusk's stormy skies
& lavender sunsets amidst rosy horizons,
affectation surging betwixt life's turmoils
wallowing in self indulgence & indecision,
the harmony of olive branch surrender
    as thrumming heart's string patience,
it was then I comprehended, darkness doesn't
last a lifetime whence lit by love's fortitude

Hi Paloma, i do love the way that this poem sounds as i read the beautiful phrases you place before us. This is an excellent write which i would read over and over. I fall into these words as the images come to me. You do paint such a beautiful canvas. I do love to go on the journey through your words, through the doorways you open. This has to be a fav and it is definitely a seven. Hugs....Mike. XX
