What Kind of World

What kind of world do we live in
Can we ever be saved
How is it that love
Has become divided by hate
Is it all too late

How did we find ourselves here
Where did this start
When innocent children
With a thorn in their hearts
Have we lost control of what we feel
Will there be a day
When we can begin to heal

How is it that these scars exist
Why must this senseless bleeding
Continue to persist
Do not deny
The child that lives deep inside
Lost, lonely and scared
To many have come unprepared
We must change
What comes from deep within
Before we all end up asking
What kind of world are we living in

The End
