What Kills Me

I gave you the best of me
without seeing what you were trying to do
A sneak attack of the heart, the knife you run through

And still what hurts the most is watching you walk away
While having nothing to say it's what kills me now and then

Betray my trust, everyone knows it's what you do
Hide your colors, unbeknownst they know to you
And I see you telling me
And I see your lies
I see how you never thought I could die

I never expected you
to spend life at my side
It's too much to ask, I know
Now i want you to..

Thanks to you I drink to much
Thanks to you I've spilled my guts
Into glasses for you to drink, I've given you my dignity
My pride and self-esteem
I hate myself for loving you
I hate you for leaving me
This secrets too much for you to hear, so let me die in peace
So I can be on my way
And now I can be on my way

This is sad...I hope this is not from experience. Nate
